Who are we?

Hall Committee

To reflect the association with Ernest Rutherford, the Association changed its name to the Rutherford Memorial Hall (Foxhill) Assn Inc, and in 2012 updated the 1937 rules and established a mission statement:

Community Use

To manage the asset known as the Rutherford Memorial Hall, to use such building for social gatherings, entertainments and other purposes deemed beneficial to fostering community well-being.

The Building

To preserve the hall and its heritage value, as the first school attended by Ernest Lord Rutherford of Nelson, for whom the hall was named “Rutherford Memorial Hall”.

Objective

Do anything necessary or helpful to the above purposes.
